Home Schoolers Continue to Excel
Once again, a homeschooled child has risen to the top in a national competition. On Wednesday, Caitlin Snaring became the first girl to win the National Geography Bee in 17 years. She never missed a single question throughout the entire competition, and she credits her homeschooling with giving her the advantage.
Fortunately, she didn't scream out the final answer a la Rebecca Sealfon (and thereby give the media another chance to take a cheap shot at homeschooling).
